If you select candidates who are ambitious, determined and disciplined, in addition to their excellent academic records, professional and soft skills. Do you consider psychological testing before the final hiring decision?

You may not be on the right track, because looking for nice, competent candidates. You still have to beware of the articulate incompetents, with their abilities to interview well for onboarding. They are the onboarding nightmares disrupting the workplaces.

Prepare a list of all the qualities and characteristics you want in the ideal candidates to match the jobs. Evaluate the candidates previous achievements as best predictors of future performance. If the candidate possess a strong sense of urgency to start the job? Is not a predictor for performance.

When identifying skills and experiences, you owe it to the new employee, to be completely clear about what constitutes excellent performance and workplace ethics. To perform their best, the candidates must fit well within the organization. They must be able to work in harmony with other teams' members. Some employers strongly recommend psychological testing for career onboarding within their organizations.
